Regarding a Rummikub issue on iPad

We have received multiple messages regarding problems using the Rummikub app on iPad. Please read this quick guide.

‘I can’t play the game, because nothing happens when I place my tiles in the box.’
Mostly people experience this problem during the initial move. Please make sure you have followed the official Rummikub rules, meaning you must have a total of 30 points placed in the box, before you are allowed to click READY.
Secondly, the tiles have to be placed connecting to each other. Just placing the tiles on the box won’t do, a line has to be made with the tiles in the correct order and there shouldn’t be any spacing between the tiles.

If the steps above have been followed correctly, you should be able to play the game. However, should the problem remain, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Since the 1950s Rummikub has been an immensely popular staple family game, played by millions of people all over the world. GFO, together with 2 partners has produced the game for the Nintendo DS and iPhone, so players on the go can play Rummikub wherever they want.

Rummikub iPhone is available in Apple App Store from the end of June, 2009.
Rummikub for the Nintendo DS is available in the Netherlands and Belgium from the 25th of June, 2009.
